We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for one of our 4* hotels in Budapest. 

What will you be responsible for?

• Preventing, detecting, and repairing breakdowns, defects, and technical issues in the hotel’s facilities and equipment.
• Monitoring and optimizing energy consumption, contributing to the operational efficiency and sustainability of the property.
• Ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety regulations, as well as emergency, self-protection, and evacuation procedures.
• Maintaining smooth communication and coordination with external maintenance providers and technical service companies.
• Identifying and keeping records of all equipment and installations subject to maintenance.
• Carrying out general maintenance repairs within the building and hotel equipment, coordinating with the needs reported by other departments and following the established preventive maintenance plans.
• Supporting the proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure high operational standards and guest comfort.

What are we looking for?

• Vocational Training (Technical Diploma) or equivalent studies in maintenance-related fields such as Electrical Systems, HVAC, Building Installations, Electromechanics, or similar.
• Good knowledge of regulations and technical standards applicable to hospitality properties and public buildings.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar environments.
• Basic knowledge of water hygiene and preventive maintenance systems (Legionella prevention knowledge is considered a plus).
• Hands-on, problem-solving attitude with strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
